Delivery Hours & Charges

Our delivery hour are from 12.00pm to 5.00pm from Monday to Saturday (no delivery on Sunday and public holiday). Delivery is available for purchase exceeding $200.00. Delivery is free of charge. Purchase below $200.00 has to be cash and carried.

Installation Services and Charges

Customers are required to provide as much details on the installation site such as the material on which installation is to be carried on (concrete, marble, wood etc), area measurement (length, width and height) and hidden piping (gas pipes, water pipes etc) to ensure a smooth and safe installation.

We offer installation services for our customers at the following charges on a per trip basis (minimum purchase of $150 of Song-Cho Stainless Steel Racking items, including Song-Cho Selection & Wel-Mi range).

  • Wall Installation: $50.00 (Kitchen & Bathroom Series)
  • Closet Installation: $30.00

 

Note:

  1. For installation on concrete walls, there will be an additional charge of $20.00.
  2. We will only provide installation for Song-Cho Selection & Wel-Mi products. Please be advised that we do not cater to customer requests to install any products from other brands.

Goods and Services Tax

Customers need to pay 7% GST.

Product Showcase / Availability in Showrooms

We hope to provide our customers with full product range, available stock and complete showcase in every showroom.
However, customers are requested to call the showroom/s before visiting.
This will enable our customers to find out the current stock availability of specific products as well as the showcase capacity.

Site Measurements

Yes, we do provide site measurements. The service is offered at no obligation and fee.

Exchange & Refund for Product

All products sold are not refundable. As a value-added service to our customers, we allow exchange to be made for our products. All the following conditions must be met and agreed upon by the customer before an exchange can be made.

  • The product and its packaging have to be in good condition. Out staff will check and determine this.
  • Proof of purchase showing the product to be exchanged (cash sales slips, invoices or receipts) must be shown to our staff.
  • Exchange of any products must be made within 7 days of purchase/delivery.
  • Exchange can only be done at the showroom where the product was bought. However, for purchase of products at the exhibition, they can be exchanged at any showroom or the head office.
Stainless Steel Used

The Wel-Mi stainless steel range belongs to the 18-8 quality (International Code #304) and it contains the following alloys:

  1. Carbon (C) <= 0.08
  2. Silicon (Si) <= 1.00
  3. Maganese (Mn) <=2.00
  4. Phosphorus (P) <= 0.045
  5. Sulphur (S) <= 0.03
  6. Nickel (Ni) >= 8.00
  7. Chromium (Cr) >= 18.00

There are two types of processes used to finish stainless steel, namely Electrolysis and Electroplating. The Wel-Mi stainless steel range uses i®Electrolysis to finish.

Electrolysis: Stainless steel wires having undergone the electrolysis process will have a very bright and long lasting finish. This is due to the elimination of impurities in the process. The more you use it (with periodical cleaning), the newer it looks. All our Wel-Mi stainless steel range uses the right electrolysis process to ensure our high quality.

Electroplating: Stainless steel wires having undergone the electroplating process will have a glossy and bright finish. But they discolour easily and leave a spotty finish after some time. The plating portion falls off easily, which is typical of counterfeit wire that uses such a method.

Maintenance of Products

Our Song-Cho Selection & Wel-Mi 18-8 stainless steel product range is durable and long lasting with little maintenance needed. Usually, a scrub with hot or warm water is all that needed to remove any greasy particles or stains. The use of a bristle brush will give our products an additional sheen, making it appears shinier and just like brand new.

Typically, impurities accumlated on stainless steel (alkaline from dish-washing liquids, grease and minerals etc) may form watermarks on the products. This happens when maintenance is not done regularly. If watermarks are stubborn, using a lemon to remove the marks will be sufficient.

Maintenance Services

Under circumstances whereby watermarks cannot be removed by the customer, please call our customer service hotline 6281 1198 or bring the products to our showrooms or head office. Please bring along the proof of purchase or warranty for maintenance services.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Customers are required to register warranty online. Please use the receipt number or delivery order number (D.O.NO.) as the warranty registration number on the SONG-CHO website.

  1. Period of Coverage
    • Lifetime warranty against rust for our products.
    • 5-year free maintenance for any damaged wire parts. A charge is applicable after the warranty is expired.
  2. Services Provided
    • Removal of watermarks.
    • Free off-site maintenance during warranty period for the following situations:
      • Inadequate handling of products such as dropping or hitting resulting in damages.
      • Damages resulting from re-assembly of the stainless steel products.
      • Damages due to exerting too much weight onto the stainless steel products resulting in spoilage of wire portion.
  3. Limitations of Warranty and Services
    • Only Wel-Mi Stainless Steel series are eligible for the warranty and maintenance services.
    • The warranty number needs to be provided for any servicing during the warranty period.
    • No exchanges or replacements will be given for any form of damages.
    • Maintenance is only provided for the wire portions. Any bending and/or alteration of the wire portions are not covered under the warranty.
  4. Responsibilities of Customers
    • Perform all self-tests and troubleshooting.
    • Provide all information including the model number, invoice number, place of purchase and the current failure symptoms.
    • Perform all maintenance and cleaning of the product as instructed under "Maintenance of Products".
  5. Warranty Repair Policy
    • The Company will need a period of 2 weeks to repair any defective products and this may be prolonged to a maximum of 4 weeks depending on the extend of damage. Otherwise, our customers will be informed if we needed longer period to repair.
  6. Warranty Registration
    • To register a product, select the header image category of the product you have purchased (e.g. click WELMI, the first header image if you have purchased a Wel-Mi item. Click "Warranty Registration" and proceed with the registration.
      • Select "WelMi" for stainless steel wire racking product range.
      • Select "Rice Cooker" for rice cooker and electrical appliances (e.g. Air Fryer, Soup Maker, Bread Maker).
      • Select "Wok" for cookware (e.g. Pressure Cooker, Pans, Pots, Wok).

  • IMM: 11.00am to 9.00pm
  • Kallang Leisure Park: 11.00am to 9.30pm
  • New World Centre: 10.30am to 7.30pm
  • Plaza Singapura: 12.00pm to 9.00pm
  • Ang Mo Kio: 11.00am to 8.00pm (weekdays) / 10.00am to 10.00pm (weekends)

Main office operates from Monday to Friday (9.00am to 5.00pm; lunch @ 1.00pm to 2.00pm), Saturday (9.00am to 1.00pm) and closed on Sunday as well as public holiday.

Cooking Class (& Recipes)
  • We hold regular cooking class usually on Saturdays from 11.00am to 1.00pm at Mapex showroom (near Marymount MRT). Please call 6281 1198 to register. As seats are limited, please register early (no fee required).
  • For recipes (videos embeded as well), please refer to our BLOG.
  • Alternatively, a registered customer who purchased our cookware will be able to view our cooking class recipes via our website. Click Buffalo or Song-Cho Selection header image, scroll down and key in the warranty no. and password to access the recipe.
